Christmas morning was made a little brighter for blood cancer patients at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre, thanks to Merseyside Against Blood Cancers (MABC). Trustees Abi Pointing, Gail Aubrey, and Frank Donovan visited the hospital to present care packages as festive gifts, spreading warmth and kindness to those undergoing treatment during the holiday season.
The MABC trustees were joined by doctors and nursing staff as they personally handed out the thoughtfully prepared care packages to bring a little joy to patients spending Christmas in the hospital. The initiative aimed to offer not only practical support but also a heartfelt reminder that the patients are not alone during this special time of year.
This Christmas initiative is just one of the many ways the charity continues to offer care and assistance to those in need.
The hospital staff expressed their gratitude for the visit, acknowledging the positive impact the care packages had on patients.
As MABC continues its mission to support those affected by blood cancers, they encourage the community to get involved, whether through donations, fundraising, or volunteering. To learn more about their work and how you can help, visit our Supporting Us page!
