Join Merseyside Against Blood Cancers (MABC) for one of our favourite events of the year – the MABC Family Fun Day & Cricket Fundraiser, taking place on Sunday 19 July 2026 at Liverpool Cricket Club.
Following the incredible success of last year’s event, which raised more than £6,000 for MABC, we’re bringing the community together once again for a day packed with sport, food, entertainment and fundraising.
Whether you’d like to play cricket, cheer from the sidelines, enjoy the food, take part in the quiz, or simply spend time with family and friends, we’d love to see you there.
What’s On?
🏏 Cricket Tournament
The first match starts at 10:00am, with players of all abilities welcome. If you’d like to play but can’t make the first fixture, organisers will do their best to accommodate you.
🍔 Food & Refreshments
Enjoy a fantastic selection of BBQ favourites, snacks, cakes and homemade dishes throughout the day.
🎨 Family Activities
There will be games, crafts and activities to keep children entertained, making it a great day out for the whole family.
🧠 Pub Quiz
Once the cricket action has finished, test your knowledge in our popular pub quiz and continue the fun into the evening.
⚽ World Cup Final
As it’s also World Cup Final day, why not stay on and watch the match with fellow supporters at the club?
Get Involved
Players are asked to make a £20 donation to take part in the cricket tournament, with every penny going directly to Merseyside Against Blood Cancers.
If cricket isn’t your thing, there are plenty of other ways to support the event. Attend with family and friends, enjoy the activities, buy a raffle ticket, take part in the quiz, or simply make a donation. Every contribution, big or small, helps us continue our work across Merseyside.
